INTERNATIONAL RUBBER PRODUCTS INC INTERNATIONAL RUBBER PRODUCTS INC San Clemente, CA San Clemente, CA $18 - $23 an hour $18 - $23 an hour 15 hours ago 15 hours ago 15 hours ago IPS - IRP Medical is seeking a Press Operator (2nd Shift) who will be responsible to operate continuous operations of molding machines/presses, vertical or horizontal, to produce products that meet requirements and/or specifications.

Responsibilities:
Operate a press to mold rubber or plastic parts to requirements or specifications Assist the Production Lead or Supervisor in meeting shift or departmental production goals Adhere to the company's safety rules and quality standards and procedures Use PPE (personal protective equipment) as required to conform to safety rules and practices Maintain good housekeeping discipline in the work area and conduct regular cleanup at every start and end of shift, line clearance at the beginning of run Complete the required documentation for shift production information in required reports such as Work Orders, Shift Reports, scanning, data entry, product label generation in the IRP Database system Take care of the product and ensure safe and clean handling to prevent damage or contamination Take care of assigned machine/s to ensure safe operation and report any abnormalities to Shift Lead/Supervisor and/or Maintenance Tech/Manager Ability to inspect product for visual defects via unaided eye or some magnification to confirm product quality, as necessary Perform other duties or tasks as required Years
Experience:
1-2
years experience in manufacturing environment preferred
Qualifications:
Minimum of High School level of education is preferred Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machines safely Good communication and interpersonal skills Cooperation, collaboration, and ability to get along well with others Understanding the importance of product conformity Manual dexterity and critical eye for details Previous machine operations experience is preferred Ability to handle moderate lifting, no greater than 50 lbs
