Love To Swim offers private swim lessons to students of all ages and backgrounds at their home or community pools in and around Orange County, CA. We specialize in providing high quality instruction at a pace that meets our students' current ability level, including some students with special needs, and combine that with a highly encouraging atmosphere that elicits success and confidence in our students, leaving them excited about swimming!
We are currently looking to add qualified, experienced, energetic instructors to our team in the San Clemente, Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, and surrounding areas . Please contact us with your qualifications and/or resume if interested.
Description -
Teach private, 1:
1 swim lessons at various home and community pools
Driving reimbursements offered for additional locations driven daily after first location
Seasonal position, March through October, with high seasons of June, July, and August
Opportunity to teach full schedules of Monday through Saturday, 9am-6pm, during high season, if desired
Opportunity to develop a teaching schedule that is flexible (hours/days), if desired
Initial and continual training is offered, as needed, throughout the season
ABA training available
Pay range of $13-$17/hr. depending on experience (drive time paid at $9/hr. plus mileage reimbursement)
Requirements -
Seeking kind, friendly, patient individuals with an energetic and encouraging personality and a passion for teaching kids and adults how to swim.
WSI Certification is required
First Aid/CPR Certification is required
Multiple years of experience teaching private swim lessons is ideal
Must know how to teach freestyle, backstroke, breast stroke, and butterfly
ABA experience is a plus
Experience with students with special needs and/or Autism is a plus
Competitive swimming background is preferred
Childcare experience is preferred
Must pass background check
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
