Yo!Dog Marketing, an online marketing agency, is searching for a WordPress Developer to update and maintain websites on behalf of our clients. This candidate will have a strong working knowledge of WordPress and WordPress Engine and will be able to modify websites in a variety of ways to improve user experience. To be successful, they must be able to multi-task and work well in a fast paced agency environment.
This is an onsite position
Responsibilities Include:
Use clean HTML5, efficient CSS, and custom graphics
Modify WordPress themes and plugins to create a custom user experience
Collaborate with leadership on design specifications
Update plug-ins, back up content, troubleshoot errors, and make code changes
Continually improve the usability of websites
Manage current client websites, updates, and maintenance
Refresh web content to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information and images
Correct, update, and implement content changes via code across multiple domains
Test websites for cross-browser compatibility
Organize and manipulate PSD files
Keep up to date on emerging trends, technologies, and market developments
Qualifications/Experience Required:
oMinimum 2 years of experience with website development and maintenance
oComfortable working in fast-paced environment with constant deadlines
oStrong organizational skills and attention to detail
Required skills:
oExperience with HTML, CSS, Javascript & PHP
oExperience installing with WordPress Engine
oAdvanced WordPress
oSearch Engine Optimization
oExperience building HTML emails and web pages
