Website Designer
Yo!Dog Marketing, a Digital Agency, is searching for a Website Designer to plan, create, and deliver responsive websites that are visually appealing and provide an exceptional user experience.
In addition to having a passion for design, the candidate must have experience building sites with themes and platforms such as In-Design, Salient and WordPress. This individual must also be able to install them to create mobile friendly websites. To be successful, they must be able to multi-task and work well in a fast paced agency environment. They will use their design eye, WordPress skills and attention to detail to exceed the expectations of our clients.
This is an onsite position
Responsibilities Include:
o Create mobile friendly responsive website designs, including but not limited to, wireframes,
concepts, comps, and final art
o Layout of in-house documents
o Design graphics for social media sites
o Layout for landing pages on social media sites
o Create graphics to enhance websites or update as needed
o Create and layout graphics for website landing pages
o Ability to organize and process large amounts of work
o Excellent problem solver and can take ownership of a project
o Deadline oriented
Qualifications/Experience Required:
o Minimum 3 years of experience in website design
o Comfortable working in fast-paced environment with constant deadlines
o Strong organizational skills
Required skills:
o Intermediate to advanced level skills in graphic design software required (web and print):
Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe In-Design, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office
Suite
o Intermediate HTML and CSS
o Experience installing with WordPress Engine
o Advanced WordPress Skills
o Able to install plugins, themes and modify themes
Location: San Clemente, CA
Compensation: Depends on experience includes base salary and incentive
